TENMON JITEN
Katakamuna Uta 19: Amori Mukahi
Scope: An English rendering of Katakamuna Uta 19, separated into transliteration, controlled literal gloss, and interpretive English.
Transliteration
Amori Mukahi — Ame no Uzume — Makaka Ohochi — Kamu Itsu no Tate — Kamu Ama Na
Literal Gloss
Descending heavenly fire-water faces the central sign. The reflecting eye of heavenly water opens and moves inward as a vortex. Great fire-light enters earth and blood. The severe power of latent Kamu stands as shield and vertical axis; finally Kamu becomes a heavenly name.
Interpretive English
Uta 19 brings descending fire-water into direct relation with the center, opens a reflective vortex, fills the earthly field with fire-light, and establishes Kamu as a strong vertical axis before it settles as heavenly name. The reading preserves the source’s interpretive and non-etymological status.
Evidence Boundary
This English edition preserves the Japanese source’s distinction between canonical text, structural observation, TENMON interpretation, comparison, and unverified hypothesis. Sound correspondences are not presented as proof of historical etymology.
